“Cassandra, Prophet of Doom” is the 10th full length release from progressive doom heroes, Stinking Lizaveta. The record and CD will hit the shelves worldwide September 18th 2026 from SRA Records. This album was recorded and mixed at Permanent Hearing Damage by Steve Roche and mastered by James Plotkin. The front and back cover paintings are by Stathis Panou. Stinking Lizaveta is hitting the road this summer in Europe and this fall they will be traveling in The United States with Deathbird Earth.
Stinking Lizaveta was forged in the 1990s in the basements of West Philly. Yanni Papadopoulos, guitar, Alexi Papadopoulos, upright electric bass and Cheshire Agusta, drums have produced ten full length albums and are road dogs of rock in the US, UK and EU. For over 30 years they have been playing every show like it’s their first and last sharing stages with bands such as Clutch, Mastodon, Lamb of God, Orange Goblin, The Sword, Torche, Corrosion of Conformity, Rollins Band, Fugazi, Zeni Geva, Today’s the Day, Weedeater, Hidden Hand, Don Vito, Antikaroshi, and Beehoover.
