This soulful collection of all-instrumental slide guitar tracks emerges from Grammy nominee, Rick Vito, whose iconic slide guitar solo in „Like A Rock” was hailed by Bob Seger as „the single most spectacular solo I’d ever heard.” Years of fan requests for an instrumental album inspired this pairing of new works with some favorite cuts from previous albums, all recorded in his revered style.
A member of Fleetwood Mac from 1987-1991, Rick Vito then released his debut solo album in ’92 and began worldwide touring with his own band. He later partnered with Mick Fleetwood in the Mick Fleetwood Blues Band feat. Rick Vito. Their CD, Blue Again, was nominated for a Grammy Award. Vito’s now iconic slide guitar solo on Bob Seger’s „Like A Rock” has was heard on the Chevy truck TV commercials.
