When grunge was mainstream, a blonde teenager from Louisiana revolutionized the music world with his blues rock debut album „Ledbetter Heights”, which stormed into the top 10 of the rock charts. Kenny Wayne Shepherd released „Ledbetter Heights” 30 years ago and has been shaping the genre ever since. „That album made me famous,” says Shepherd. „My goal has always been to make genuine and authentic music, and I’m very proud of ‘Ledbetter Heights’.” Thirty years later, Shepherd is now releasing a re-recorded version of his debut album: „Ledbetter Heights: The 30th Anniversary Sessions”. With the maturity of a seasoned musician and producer and the vocals of his longtime vocalist Noah Hunt, the „30th Anniversary Sessions” will delight old and new fans alike. „Listening to this album again has reconnected me with the wonder and excitement of those days. I didn’t know what lay ahead of me then,” he muses, „but I’m very grateful for what has come out of it.”
