Hailing from London’s working-class East End, The 4-Skins formed in 1979 at the very onset of the Oi! music scene. By their second full-length album, A Fistful Of… 4 Skins (originally released in 1983), the band matured into a heavier, more melodic, hard rock-based sound. Featuring the gritty vocals of Roi Pearce (ex-Last Resort), this album is a crucial document of the early 80s UK street punk scene, tackling themes of urban life, unemployment, and defiance.
