Scott Hamilton turns 70 and looks back on a long career. For this album he has selected material associated with many of the musicians he has worked with over the years. If he had had more space, songs by Al Cohn, Gerry Wiggins, Benny Goodman, Flip Phillips, Ed Bickert, Arnett Cobb, Zoot Sims, Benny Carter, Hank Jones, Woody Herman, Jake Hanna and many others would have been included. He is lucky to have known so many of his heroes. So many that he may have to make another album or two!
