Frostmoon Eclipse, one of the oldest Black Metal entities from Italy are celebrating their 30th anniversary in 2024 and what better way to celebrate three decades of darkness then to relive the days of old? For this special occasion we excavated their back catalogue and breathe new life into their first four full length albums through a remastering of the old works and repacking each album in brand new artwork, to be released each on Vinyl for the very first time.
Their second full length album “Death is Coming” was originally recorded in 2002 and released in 2003 through ISO666. Just like their first full length album, the band delivers an old school black metal record filled with some amazing acoustic guitar work that brings the needed variation throughout the record to slow down from the aggressiveness and the blast beat parts. The bass guitar delivers the needed refreshing as you can hear the bass notes sweeping through the songs with some solid melodic passages, where the vocals are a consistent continuation from the first album.
„Death is Coming” is just like its predecessor a melodic, yet raw piece of 1990’s old school black metal record that every metal fan from new to old could and should appreciate! A rare or unique piece within their extended catalogue and therefore a must have or even a collector’s item for those who either follow the band or for those old school 1990’s fans.

All music and lyrics by Frostmoon Eclipse. “Death Is Coming” was recorded and mixed in December 2002 at Big Wave Studios (Italy). Engineered mixed and mastered by Niko Santaniello and Frostmoon Eclipse. Remastered by Davide Gorrini at Beastcave in 2023.
