„Who’s that shit from again?” At some point, someone in some pub heard „Acne Kid Joe” when the Ugly Kid Joe version of „Cats In The Cradle” was playing. I laughed briefly, „great band name!”, but now it’s half as funny. Because Akne Kid Joe have become serious, play sus & 7 chords, isotonic wheat beer is on the hospitality rider and so on, that fits ZERO! Punk was just a phase, mom knew it. Akne Kid Joe (the punk band with the awesome band name) sound like the Pixies used to.
At least that’s what the guy from Dog Eat Dog said, and everyone in the band thought „cool”, even though half of them only knew „Where Is My Mind?”, but „Fight Club” was a great movie! (And „Doolittle” huge album, note from the Pixies half). In June, the fourth AKJ album with the title „4 Von 5” will be released. Perhaps the penultimate? Your head will collapse, and there’s nothing in it and you’ll ask yourself…
