One of the most successful rock bands on Planet Earth, the band far exceeded the success of its earlier incarnation, Jefferson Airplane. This collection spans the period 1974-1976 when the band was at its creative best, receiving plaudits for its first three albums, „Dragon Fly” (1974), „Red Octopus” (1975) and „Spitfire” (1976).
This collection showcases the band live across three concerts: 24 November, 1974 at the Winterland Arena in the band’s home, San Francisco (broadcast live by KSAN); 12 May 1975 in Central Park, New York City; and 7 July 1976 in Central Park, New York City. The latter two gigs were free concerts broadcast and co-sponsored by WNEW-FM).
