Trigger 10d was conceived and formed in the late 90’s and was originally comprised of Alicia Sotelo (vocals and lyrics), George Fulton (programming/bass guitar), and Sam Maroptta (programming.)

Trigger 10d returns with an edgier sound and a new self titled album. Lead by vocalist Alicia Sotelo, Trigger 10d has musically transitioned from trip-hop to more electronic indie rock. This new sound is evident from the albums start with the high energy, guitar driven „Misplaced” and continues throughout with „A-list” and „Laced”.
Trigger 10d still has a heavy presence of electronics with the innovative programming of Sam Marotta and George Fulton taking center stage on „Lullaby”, „Skies Gone Dark” and „Puddlehopping”.

Chicago‘s music scene is pretty varied, but seems to fall into 3 basic catagories … indie noise bands, the Corgan followers, and neo Punk ala the Alkaline Trio. So, sometimes you have to dig around to find other genres, like electronica, but when you find a good one, like 10d, it’s like hitting gold. The irony is that they have a total DiY style, that you don’t see, or at least I don’t, with other bands of their ilk … and it totally shows in their music, especially their instrumental track.
