Two years after the release of their first album, The Pulsebeats come back with „Do not turn your fucking back on me”, a declaration of principles on a vinyl 7″ in the old-fashioned way. This is an EP for dancing and humming, with three really direct songs, fast and full of melody, closer to punk rock than to the power pop of their debut album. You can find influences from Ramones, Jay Reatard, Buzzcocks, Social Distortion, The Nerves… etc.
In these times of widespread pessimism and of pseudo-intellectual intimistic pop, The Pulsebeats bet more than ever for fun and revelry. That’s their message: rock and roll for drinking beers and shaking your hips, and why not?, insulting corrupt politicians who are trying to make our existence bitter.
